Arden International announced their first Formula Renault 2.0 line-up in history for the 2017 season: Daniel Ticktum, Zane Goddard and Ghislain Cordeel.

Daniel Ticktum had already been confirmed by Red Bull which just welcomed him in their young driver programme. The British driver comes back from a one-year ban before his come-back in F3 in the Grand Prix of Macau.

Australian Zane Goddard comes from British F4 where he claimed four victories and eight podiums to end with an eighth place overall. He comments:

“I am super excited about the season ahead. To be racing with Arden in the Formula Renault 2,0 Eurocup Championship is amazing. Arden has proved time and time again that they can win races in all championships.”

Belgian Ghislain Cordeel is not new to Formula Renault as he already took part into several Eurocup and NEC races last year alongside V de V Challenge and TCR Benelux. He confesses his excitation about racing for a British team:

“Wherever you race on earth, the guidelines will always be in English. Names like pole position.. Flying finish.. Gentleman start your engines.. They all came from that wonderful country called England!! So the best thing that can happen to a real racing driver is to race for an English team! Racing is my life!”

Ben Salter, Arden team manager, says more about his ambitions:

“As a team we are really looking forward to what will be our inaugural season in Eurocup. I believe that with the lineup we have put together it will enable us to hit the ground running and challenge for race wins from the off. I’m looking forward for the official testing to get under way.”
