The young German driver signed for the team of Frits van Amersfoort to run in his second season in F3.


The VAR team announced this July the hiring of Keyvan Andres Soori of only 17 years old. The German driver already has experience in F3, since last season he drove for Motorpark where he did not get the expected results. With a year of experience on their back, will seek to succeed with VAR team.

Keyvan made the leap to F3 after passing through American competitions. After being successful in the world of karting, he went to the United States to the Skip Barber Winter Series where he was champion with only 13 years. After that, he joined the USF2000 for two years and also participated in the Mazda Road to Indy.

After his American adventure he returned to Europe where, apart from the F3, he also participated in the EuroFormula Open, where he was twelfth with Carlin, and was part of the 2017 Toyota Racing Series. His main goal now is to reap good results with his new team.

Soori highlighted his knowleadge of his first year in the competition: “I am ready for the next step in my career, and last season it was very useful to get used to the Formula 3 races. I want to use this experience to be competitive with Van Amersfoort Racing, and I am impacient because Van Amersfoort Racing is one of the best teams in Formula 3″said the German driver.
