Lando Norris has secured the fourth pole position of the season in FIA ??Formula 3 European championship at Spa-Francorchamps circuit, in the first classification of the weekend. Callum Ilott and Jake Hughes complete the top3.

After set the fastest time in practice session, British Lando Norris (Carlin) has managed to prevail in the first classification of the weekend with a time of 2:12.144.

The McLaren youngster has shown himself to be unique driving in the ideal line at the complicated curves of Eau Rouge-Radillon and Pouhon, who have given him two extra tenths to overcome Callum Ilott (Prema Powerteam) and Jake Hughes (Hitech GP).

Championship leader Maximilian Günther (Prema Powerteam) has qualified fourth in a good position to fight for victory tomorrow, and he has a good chance to distance himself further from his pursuer, Joel Eriksson (Motopark) who has again qualified worse than expected. The Swedish will start twelfth.
